Brenda L. Leffler is an author living in Minnesota and Colorado, who spent more than twenty-years moonlighting as a law enforcement officer.  A native of Colorado, Brenda left the state for a few years after high school to join the U.S. Army, where she served as a field medic.  After her service in the military, Brenda joined the Colorado State Patrol, where she rose through the ranks and was appointed as the first female lieutenant colonel in the agency’s history.

Brenda used her law enforcement knowledge extensively to develop her first novel, INJUSTICE, which she co-wrote with author, K.A. Kron.   Brenda and K.A. Kron enjoyed literary success for INJUSTICE and BLIND JUSTICE, the second book in the NEMESIS series from Lethe Press.

Brenda is married to Janeé Harteau, who resides in Minneapolis. To follow Brenda and Janee on their adventures, join them on Facebook.

When she is not writing, Brenda enjoys traveling the world, hiking Colorado’s fourteen thousand foot peaks and spending time with her furry cohorts, Finn, Kona and Spencer.
